Publicity Tip : Go above and beyond

Publicity Tip : Go above and beyond

Once a journalist is interested in covering your story, be as helpful as you can. Remember, the more information a journalist has, the better the story will be for you. Also, the more work you have done before you approach the journalist, the easier it will be for them. For instance, offer to find an additional spokesperson, extra statistics or more photos. For a tv interview or photos, have some suggestions for suitable locations to shoot.

Think about what the journalist needs for the story and do everything you can to make sure they have everything they need.
