Publicity Tip : Don’t ever wing it

Publicity Tip : Don’t ever wing it

When you’re speaking to a journalist or doing an interview make sure you know what you are talking about. If a journalist asks you a question you don’t know the answer to, don’t try to wing it. If you don’t know, simply say as much but offer to find out. If you try to guess an answer or make something up, it’s very hard to take it back once it’s out there. There’s nothing wrong with saying I don’t know.
